It was a pleasure to work with Nigel and his team through the whole journey from design to construction.

Nigel Mallas was contracted to manufacture a stainless steel water feature and statue for a new Physic garden installation at Littlethorpe Manor in 2020.
The water feature is designed as a large bowl, approx 1m diameter surrounded by a deep curving rim over which the water flows in a curtain.
At the centre is a 60cm diameter polished stainless steel sphere weighted to float at its equatorial line and held in place by an inner hemisphere open at the base to allow for the flow of water from the submerged pump below.
Nigel not only had the ability to fabricate a beautiful structure from the supplied drawings, but also had the skills to solve many of the difficult engineering and hydraulic problems. We are delighted with the end result which looks great and is working perfectly 2 years on.
The second commission was to manufacture a 1.5m high stainless steel statue of a hip joint. Once again Nigel was able to solve the fabrication problems involved in constructing the unusual curves and angles required and provided a variety of polishes and finishes to differentiate the surfaces. The statue now forms a stunning focal point to the garden.
Nigel kept us informed of progress throughout the fabrication process and it was easy to discuss any problems and modi?cations as required. I would highly recommend Nigel and his son Jack for any bespoke metal fabrication work.

Big News, we are pleased to announce we will be at The Great Yorkshire Show at Harrogate, 12th until the 15th of July this year! We will be taking some of our products and showcasing new designs.

New square planters taking shape, these are made from corten weathered steel in our uk workshop, they will go a beautiful burnt orange colour when weathered. Either as a set or one by itself, they create a real focal point to any patio or garden

Corten weathered steel planters newly welded and ready for finishing touches. Available in three sizes and also in square shapes. As a group or on their own they will look great as they slowly turn a burnt orange colour when left outside. Also in stainless steel
